Summary
The leading cause of death among young people between 16 and 20 years old is traffic crashes, and alcohol is implicated in one-third of those deaths. But death may not be the worst-case scenario. This documentary was filmed at the University of Maryland's R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. It was not staged. The producers filmed events that actually occurred while they were at Maryland Shock Trauma, and some of what occurred is graphic. You will see distraught family members and friends, and bloody victims as they are brought into the unit
