The San Bernardino, California, Route 66 Rendezvous began in 1990 when 400 vehicles gathered to celebrate America's Highway, Toute 66. The show now encompasses 35 blocks of cruisin', 500,000 spectators, and 2,448 classic cars and hot roads. Events include a Nion Light Cruise, the Firestone Brunout and Flame Throwing Contest, an Open Headers Contest, as well as an on-going downtwon Cruise and Show & Shine
